Hey, I'm Tara.

Back in design school nothing made me more excited than crafting thoughtful and consistent worlds around fictional businesses and institutions. I would spend sleepless nights and all my savings on ensuring every detail was they way I imagined it to be. I knew I wanted to be a brand designer ever since.

This dedication landed me an internship at an award-winning branding agency, where I spent six years learning the ropes and elevating my skills on my way to becoming Senior Art Director. The valuable lessons I learned during that time made me the creative expert I am today.

But while I loved the energy of working in a team, I was always longing for more freedom. I started travelling as much as I could and returned home from each trip with a new sense of motivation and inspiration. Being born in Canada and raised in Germany, I have always felt like I had multiple homes and I couldn't wait to see what else was out there.

So when I got the opportunity to live abroad for a while, I didn’t hesitate. I realized, that I don’t need an office to construct distinctive and intentional brands. Luckily I can take my creativity and experience wherever I go – which lead me to finally realizing my dream of a location independent studio that combines my two passions: Design & Travel.
